CIBC Design System Documentation Site

Mission

To create a comprehensive documentation website for CIBC Digital Banking’s new Design System using Zeroheight, a cloud-based platform tailored for design documentation and collaboration.

What I Have Accomplished

I built this UI documentation website from the ground up to serve as a single source of truth for CIBC’s new digital branding, ensuring consistency for external vendors and design teams across various sectors of the organization.

My Role

I collaborated closely with developers, UI designers, and accessibility specialists from the brand team to structure website content effectively. I conducted extensive competitor research—analyzing sites like Workday, Telus, and TD Bank—to inform the site’s structure and layout. Through comprehensive user testing of UI components, I helped define design rules and ensure usability. I also ensured alignment between the components displayed on the website and those documented in Storybook, a documentation platform for developers.

Additionally, I explored the capabilities of the Zeroheight platform and shared insights with fellow designers to support cross-team collaboration.
